Watch the stars celebrate Hanukkah

From Mariah Carey serenading 10-year old twins to Chelsea Handler baking challah bread, these celebrities unite around the festival of lights.
Hanukkah

Amidst global news of a new COVID variant, it’s really a treat to remember these words: Happy Hanukkah! There is always a light (better, a festival of lights) to remind us of tradition. Where we come from and what unites us. Religious freedom and expression. Dedication.

As families everywhere spin dreidels, recite prayers, eat latkes and light menorahs after sundown, we’re also celebrating vicariously through these Jewish celebs and public figures moving festively into 2022. Eye candy without the cavities be like:

  • Mariah Carey serenading her 10-year old twins with a Hanukkah song she learned in grade school
  • Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff light the menorah together like the super sweet power couple they are
  • Comedian Chelsea Handler making some challah bread while admitting that it’s a miracle she’s even baking
  • Sister band HAIM donned menorah cats (because why not?) while announcing a weeklong rollout of special surprises

Let’s follow that merriment and cheer through the end of the year!
